The CNY Heritage Award is given to an individual, group or organization that honors, revives, and shares an important part of our Central New York heritage with the community. This year we honored The Syracuse Flag Committee for The Syracuse Flag Initiative, and the committee it built, seeking to reinvigorate this historic symbol and breathe new life into a banner.
