Join PACNY for a free webinar exploring the restoration and future of the Historic People’s AME Zion Church located at 711 E. Fayette Street in Syracuse.
Built in 1911 by renowned local architect Charles E. Colton, this architectural and cultural landmark is both a National Register–listed and locally designated protected site. Functioning as a spiritual and social anchor of Syracuse’s African American community, and leader in the civil rights movements of the 19th and 20th centuries, this historic church is now undergoing a thoughtful restoration and adaptive reuse effort.
